J.U.N. “El Principe De La Lyrica”…
Born in 1989 in New York City, Puerto rican descendant Miguel Ortiz well-known as J.U.N. grows up to be “El principe de la lirica”.
He is admired by his writing and velocity. When Miguel sings, he sings for everyone and he tries to convey a constructive yet controversial message in each of his songs. The speed that takes over him when rapping is just astonishing. His songs are usually about personal experiences he has had and anecdotes from experiences other people had, which he feels sympathy and commiseration for. He has a song for almost everything that gets in his way. Miguel meets JLuna while attending Marble Hill School for Int’l Studies while being an 11th grader and JLuna being a 12th grader. After having heard Jonathan’s beats and singing, Miguel offered to become a duo and produce a CD together, which later on became their first production. After a couple of moths, J.U.N. decided make duo with Torch. The name “J.U.N.” Comes from Miguel’s uncle’s ideas. More in depth, when Miguel was a child, his uncle asked his father to give him liberty to name Miguel: Jun Jun. After a couple of years Miguel felt as if the name “Jun Jun” was silly to be used as an artistic name. He decided to just leave it as “J.U.N.” Miguel started writing at a young age. “What I have to do is Keep moving forward, taking risks and knowing that as long as I don’t give up, I’ll reach a future full of love, health and money” says J.U.N. he hopes that when you listen to their songs, you’re able to indentify yourself and find inspiration in them to keep on living because, everyday brings something new. Thanks to everyone who was part of their first production and to those who dedicated time and effort to give their music, an opportunity.
Torch “T.O.R”…
Henry Reynoso, a half black dominican rapper. Raised in the bronx and born in washington heights, 1990. He started rapping at the age of 9 and took it as a fun hobby in 8th grade. After realizing how much his passion for music has grown and found a permenant spot in his heart, he began to spend hours practicing on his flow and lyrics. He autonamed himself “Torch”. He wanted the name “Blaze” but too many artises had it already. He uses a smooth toned voice to catch his listeners attention. He uses his swagga and borderline conceited attitude to write his lyrics and create new flows. Majority of his verses are english but when he lay’d down a spanish verse, he created a new style called “reggaeton swagga”. Don’t let this suave look and relax personality fool you!, he will turn the heat up and melt away every other competitors out there with his lava lyrics, so be careful metioning his group name because like J.U.N. and JLuna, he spits straight fuego. But as he says “temperature over raising ..I’m tryin not to over heat dis earth cause of my climate”. Its believed that he can, so take caution when listening to the tracks.
